Day 24, Art Gallery!

Today we had the fun of exploring the astonishingly-lovely art gallery that the Art Department created for the film. Totally astonishing art, much made by our own crew members. Our actors and background extras were delighted to see the variety of art represented. I am really wrung out and exhausted, but will merely write that any spare prayers would be gratefully accepted, that we make our day tomorrow, with our several driving scenes, and additional indoor scenes too. Today was a crunch. There was so very much to accomplish, and the usual technical issues, that make it so that the part I need to do, the actual directing and filming, got a bit delayed. It's inevitable, but also inevitably frustrating. Our venue's "hard out" (time we need to be gone by) meant that the end of the day was....well rapid. That "squish" is hard on all departments. I got beautiful, beautiful footage, from two of the finest and most emotionally-available actors working. But it was a bit hard on the inner spiritual woodwork:) Also, kudos to Ashley, because he actually talked Larry into walking through a scene. If you ever see the film's art gallery scene, pay attention, and watch for a glimpse of Larry! And picture wrap on our nuns! And Romy! And such nice background actors: here are some:
